Publisher: Balcony Garden Picks. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://balconygardenpicks.com/how-we-research#our-score

On a small balcony, a folding table earns its keep by disappearing when you do not need it. A fold-down rail-mounted shelf or a compact bistro table gives you a spot for morning coffee or a potting surface, then folds flat against the wall or tucks into a corner so the space stays open.

Weatherproofing and the folding mechanism are the things to check. Look for rust-resistant frames and tops that shrug off rain, a hinge that locks securely so the table does not collapse mid-use, and a folded depth slim enough to fit the gap you have when it is stowed.
