# Best Outdoor Storage Benches Source: https://balconygardenpicks.com/best/best-outdoor-storage-benches Updated: 2026-09-15 Publisher: Balcony Garden Picks. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://balconygardenpicks.com/how-we-research#our-score An outdoor storage bench does double duty, which is the whole point on a balcony where every item has to justify its footprint. You get a weatherproof seat and a hidden box underneath for cushions, tools, potting mix, and the clutter that otherwise piles up in a corner of a small space. Capacity, weather resistance, and a well-sealed lid are what to look for. Choose a bench rated to keep contents dry, with a hinge and lid that stay put in wind, and check both the seat load and the storage volume so it comfortably holds a seated adult and the gear you actually need to stash. ## Picks ### 1.
