# Best Watering Globes Source: https://balconygardenpicks.com/best/best-watering-globes Updated: 2026-09-15 Publisher: Balcony Garden Picks. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://balconygardenpicks.com/how-we-research#our-score Watering globes are a simple fix for the container gardener's biggest headache: pots that dry out fast and need daily attention. You fill the glass or plastic bulb, push the stem into the soil, and it slowly releases water as the soil dries, buying you a few days of hands-off care during a heat wave or a trip. They work best as a supplement rather than a full irrigation system, and results vary with pot size and soil. Look for globes with a stake or spike that resists clogging, choose a capacity that matches your pot, and remember that larger thirsty plants may need more than one to get through a hot week. ## Picks ### 1. 5Star Aqua Plant Watering Globes, 8 pack (4 Small & 4 Large) Our score: 8.4/10 (Fit for the job 9/10 · Features and specs 8/10 · Build and materials 7/10 · Value 9/10) 5Star's 8 pack of aqua plant watering globes with 4 small and 4 large sizes for mixed pot collections.
