What we liked
- + Five trays of 12.7 by 10.23 inches come with 10 planting papers, so several batches can run at once.
- + Food grade BPA free plastic with a clear cover holds humidity and lets light in, per the listing.
- + The mesh grid with small holes is meant to drain well and suits microgreens, wheatgrass, alfalfa and similar seeds.
Trade-offs
- - Seeds are not included, so you have to buy microgreen seed separately.
- - Very small seeds can slip through the mesh unless you use the germination paper, as the listing warns.
