What we liked
- + Six pods in a compact body suit a kitchen counter or a shelf beside the balcony door
- + Low water reminder plus a transparent level window make it easy to see when to refill
- + Auto timer runs the full-spectrum LED on a steady schedule, and the light raises as plants grow
Trade-offs
- - The listing highlights do not give tank capacity, light wattage or maximum plant height
- - Six pods is a small harvest, enough for a few herbs but not for regular salad greens
