What we liked
- + 4.3mm thickened steel is sturdier than thin wire hoops for top-heavy blooms and leaning stems
- + Soft rubber coating grips stems without cutting in, and the green finish blends into foliage
- + Tool-free: push the stake into the pot or bed and adjust the ring around the plant
Trade-offs
- - Only three supports per pack, so a balcony full of pots needs several packs
- - At 17 inches high they suit potted and medium plants, not tall tomatoes or climbers
