What we liked
- + Includes five non-GMO seed packs (broccoli, arugula, kale, cabbage, radish) plus 10 soil discs, so no extra supplies are needed.
- + Five grow boxes with humidity lids are described as leak-proof and sized to fit a windowsill or counter.
- + Includes 3 gardening tools and markers, and the listing says it suits beginners.
Trade-offs
- - Five small boxes limit how much you can harvest at one time compared with larger tray systems.
- - The listing names a seven day harvest, but yields depend on light and care, so expect to need a bright spot.
